To help users access Better Compliance in their preferred language, especially when using the Support Portal, you can set up Google Translate using the steps below:
General Requirements
✅ You must use the Google Chrome browser.
✅ You need to be connected to the internet (translation does not work in offline mode).
✅ The Support Portal and Training Tracker are web-based, so you don’t need to download an app.
On Mobile or Tablet
Step 1: Install the Google Translate App
iPhone/iPad: Go to the App Store, search for Google Translate, and install it. (Requires iOS 12.4+)
Android: Visit the Google Play Store, search for Google Translate, and install it.
Step 2: Open Better Compliance Support Portal in Chrome
Use the Chrome app to open the Support Portal: https://support.bettercompliance.co.uk
Step 3: Translate the Page
Tap the three dots (...) at the bottom or top right of the screen (depending on your device).
Tap Translate.
The page will automatically translate into the default language set in your Google Translate app.
You can then:
Tap the settings cog to change the language.
Choose to Always Translate to enable automatic translation every time.
On a Laptop or Desktop (Windows or Mac)
Step 1: Install the Google Translate Extension
Open Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.
Search for Google Translate and click Add to Chrome.
Step 2: Access Better Compliance Support Portal
Step 3: Translate the Page
Click the Google Translate icon in the top-right corner of Chrome. If you don’t see it, click the puzzle icon and pin Google Translate.
Click Translate this page.
Choose your desired language.
Optional: Set Default Language
Click on Extension Options in Google Translate.
Choose your preferred language and save it.
This will enable automatic translation every time you visit the Support Portal.
